What do I need to start a trucking company?
A DOT number identifies your company for safety purposes. An MC number provides operating authority for certain interstate transportation.

What’s the difference between DOT and MC numbers ?
With the new FMCSA Motus system, applications are subject to 10 day protest period. Activation depends on FMCSA processing and completion of all requirements, including insurance and BOC-3.
